Romeu & Cía

Romeu & Cía is the company that gave birth to the group. Romeu was born out of its success and the desire to diversify its activities.

It dates back to the middle of the 19^th century in Tarragona and became firmly established after 1939 when the brothers Manuel and Ernesto Romeu Escandell took over running it while maintaining its original ship consignment business.

Over the years, various shipping companies have consigned their freight with us and we represent them in Algeria, Argentina, Spain, Morocco, Mexico, Portugal and Tunisia.

Nowadays we handle ships in port and represent the owners with the Maritime Authority and other authorities and organisations in the port sector.
