Corporate Social Responsibility
Romeu’s corporate social responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility is one of Romeu’s guiding principles and is regulated in our Code of Ethics and Conduct.
Romeu is committed to and acknowledges the importance of performing its operations in a way that respects society, cultural diversity and customs. This means all the organisation’s members are required to scrupulously comply with human and fundamental rights as well as nationally and internationally recognised civil liberties.
At Romeu we are fully aware of the importance of maintaining a balanced relationship between our work, the environment and society. Corporate Social Responsibility plays a key role in designing our companies’ in-house processes as a distinctive aspect of business excellence in the relationship between the company and its employees and social surroundings.
We strive to ensure that our values, our quality, our integrity and our professionalism are consistent wherever we operate, in any country.
We actively pursue the wellbeing of our teams. Whether it is through policies to balance work and family life or by promoting sport, we want our employees to feel comfortable at work and at home, when telecommuting and onsite.
We aspire to have a diverse team. It is through this diversity that we can better cater for our customers’ needs and special features.
Our commitment to equality and diversity policies seeks a balance between young and old, men and women, cultural backgrounds and educational pathways. It also includes providing jobs for people with disabilities.
We care for the environment. Our ongoing process re-engineering seeks to achieve paperless offices. We bake carbon footprint optimisation policies into transport design.
In short, in its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, Romeu allocates as many material and human resources as needed to grow responsibly and sustainably and achieve success in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), legality, integrity, ethics and transparency.
