ROMEU’s day-to-day involves customs, transport and logistics, forwarding, NVOCC consolidation, shipping agency, ports and offices in many parts of the world. We know that effort and perseverance have brought us to what ROMEU is today, but we are also aware of the importance of developing our activity in accordance with ethical values.
For this reason, at ROMEU, we are committed to developing an ethical and compliant culture, in which all of us who work at ROMEU are part.
With this goal in mind, we have a Compliance Program since 2020 that aims to establish those keystones that should guide our actions, in accordance with ethical and integrity standards. We have a Code of Ethics and Conduct that establishes the principles and values and the ethical behavior expected of all of us who are part of ROMEU, not only in our internal relations, but also with the different interest groups.
We invite you to read our Code of Ethics and Conduct, and to be part of our culture and our values.
In addition, with the aim of detecting any element that hinders the effectiveness of our Compliance Program, we have launched a Whistleblowing Channel through which ROMEU members can report possible irregular conduct that may have been committed. in the development of our activity.
Likewise, we also have a set of Policies and Protocols that deploy the principles and values proclaimed in the Code of Ethics and Conduct, such as the Anti-Corruption or Money Laundering Prevention Policy. We also have the figure of the Chief Compliance Officer who is the person in charge of supervising the proper functioning of the Compliance Program.
